AI Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and uphold high-performance web servers, resilient APIs, and integration layers across contemporary back-end frameworks.

• Strategically integrate and securely incorporate AI functionalities and third-party solutions into essential enterprise processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional, non-technical teams to translate vague business objectives into impactful technical solutions.

• Architect and deploy secure authorization and authentication workflows utilizing enterprise identity frameworks.

• Streamline complex architectures to mitigate technical debt and guarantee sustainable scalability.

• Spearhead Trimble’s AI initiative by integrating intelligent features into fundamental enterprise tools.

• Shift internal systems from task automation to workflow automation.

• Develop custom enterprise solutions and create core APIs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated production-level experience in delivering reliable, high-performance applications utilizing Python and TypeScript.

• Extensive knowledge of OAuth2 and enterprise identity providers, such as Okta.

• Experience in integrating, interpreting, and implementing solutions based on complex third-party API specifications like Workday.

• Strong expertise in automated deployment pipelines and continuous integration processes.

• Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in collaborating with non-engineering stakeholders.

• Familiarity with specialized technologies in artificial intelligence, robotics, or extended reality (XR) is a plus.

• Capability to quickly adapt between various codebases, frameworks, and system requirements.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
