AI Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Leverage AI-driven development tools as a part of your daily engineering activities to enhance how you design, develop, test, troubleshoot, document, review, and deploy software.

• Design, implement, and maintain APIs, services, and backend systems with a strong emphasis on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

• Explore emerging AI development methodologies and assist the team in adopting practical, impactful engineering workflows.

• Creatively and effectively identify and resolve complex technical challenges.

• Cultivate a team culture that encourages collaboration, high performance, continuous learning, and responsible experimentation.

• Offer guidance and support to team members, aiding them in developing their technical skills and enhancing their modern engineering practices.

• Monitor and optimize key system and product performance indicators.

⛳️ Requirements

• You have over 4 years of experience designing highly scalable and available systems, primarily in **Go.**

• You possess practical experience with AI-powered developer tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, or similar technologies.

• You can effectively utilize AI tools across various stages, including design, implementation, testing, debugging, refactoring, documentation, and code review.

• You take pride in maintaining high engineering standards.

• Quality, testing, observability, and documentation are integral to your process, not afterthoughts.

• You thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced technical environments where best practices are still being established.

• You are an effective communicator and fluent in English.

• **Preferred Qualifications:**

• Familiarity with agentic AI development patterns, including tool/function calling, RAG, multi-step workflows, human-in-the-loop systems, agents, skills, hooks, or plugins.

• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, Agent SDKs, or AI orchestration frameworks such as Strands Agents, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.

• Proven track record in evaluating emerging AI developer tools and translating effective practices into company-wide engineering standards.

• **Bonus points if you possess prior mobile experience.**
