AI Sales Operator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Review daily AI-generated text messages, approving, editing, or rewriting them prior to dispatch.

• Recognize patterns within conversations and analyze their underlying causes.

• Revise brand prompts and playbooks, testing any changes before implementation.

• Address brand inquiries and transform them into updates for the playbook.

• Assist with new brand launches through market research, persona development, crafting opening messages, and validating offers.

• Conduct A/B tests, monitor their progress, and report on the outcomes.

• Acquire knowledge of the company console, approval queue, playbook system, prompt workflows, Shopify basics, discount codes, and A/B testing methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ability to read people effectively, discerning whether a shopper is ready to purchase, has inquiries, or is finished, and respond accordingly.

• Strong sales intuition: adept at addressing objections and confidently asking for the sale without being confrontational.

• Interest in data analysis with the capability to examine conversation tables, compare volumes, pinpoint anomalies, and explore their origins.

• Skill in resolving root issues by identifying absent information, ambiguous guidelines, or conflicting instructions, and making necessary updates.

• Proficient in using ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI tools, with an understanding of prompt impacts.

• Prompt responsiveness during working hours and quick engagement via Slack.

• Quick learner of new tools who is open to receiving feedback.

• Preferred: sales experience (SDR, BDR, retail, or another role with a conversion rate), customer support, or live chat experience.

• Preferred: experience in a DTC brand or e-commerce agency.

• Preferred: familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, Postscript, or similar platforms.

• Preferred: spreadsheet skills or basic SQL knowledge.

• Preferred: independently built or automated projects utilizing AI.
