This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create adversarial prompts to rigorously evaluate cutting-edge AI models.
• Detect jailbreaks, unsafe behaviors, hallucinations, and failures in policy.
• Assess the robustness of models in areas such as misinformation, cybersecurity, biosecurity, fraud, political content, and other sensitive sectors.
• Record vulnerabilities and aid in the development of safety benchmarking and red-teaming documentation.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to enhance model alignment, robustness, and safety.
• Manage project tasks on a self-directed schedule.
• Engage in projects focused on training and improving AI systems.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Journalism, Communications, Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Public Policy, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in AI Safety, AI Red Teaming, Trust & Safety, cybersecurity, investigative journalism, life sciences, or a related domain.
• Excellent analytical reasoning, prompt design, and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in designing adversarial prompts or assessing cutting-edge AI systems.
• Ability to work as an independent contractor.
• Must reside in one of the specified eligible countries/territories.
• H1-B or STEM OPT candidates are not eligible.
