AI Robotics Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Development and execution of deep learning techniques specifically for robotics applications, focusing on vision-based decision-making, motion control, and object manipulation.

• Design and validation of software for comprehensive control of robots within industrial settings.

• Integration of deep learning models into the hardware and software systems of robotics applications.

• Conducting research to explore new deep learning methodologies relevant to robotics.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree or doctorate in computer science, robotics, or related fields, with a focus on robotics and machine learning.

• Methodical and practical experience in robotics, deep learning, and deep reinforcement learning.

• Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

• Familiarity with simulation environments like Nvidia Isaac Sim, Omniverse, Mujoco, Unity, or similar platforms.

• Understanding of robotics frameworks such as ROS, OROCOS, or equivalent.

• Strong programming abilities in Python and C++.

• Experience with vision frameworks (e.g., OpenCV) is a plus.

• Familiarity with Linux, Git, and Docker is an advantage.
