AI Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Act as the key strategist and primary champion for G.E.H.A’s Artificial Intelligence initiatives.

• Connect business objectives, member requirements, and technical execution seamlessly.

• Work closely with full stack developers, data scientists, compliance and risk teams, as well as business stakeholders.

• Develop, sustain, and rigorously prioritize the AI product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment.

• Convert intricate business needs into clear and actionable user stories, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria for the development teams.

• Engage actively in Agile ceremonies to guarantee that the development team has a clear understanding of goals and deliverables.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and deliver transparent updates regarding the AI product’s progress.

• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure all AI models comply with regulations and ethical standards.

• Work together with change management and operations teams to ensure the successful implementation, training, and adoption of AI tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Agile Product Management or Product Ownership, including at least 1–2 years managing AI, Machine Learning, or data-intensive software products.

• A solid foundational knowledge of AI/ML concepts (e.g., Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, predictive modeling) and the data science lifecycle.

• Demonstrated experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Strong capability to analyze data, interpret performance metrics, and make data-driven product decisions.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the skill to translate complex technical AI concepts into easily understandable business language.

• Prior experience in healthcare, health insurance, or a highly regulated sector is a significant advantage.

• Knowledge of cloud-based AI/ML platforms (e.g., Azure AI, Google Cloud AI, AWS SageMaker) and contemporary data architecture (e.g., Kafka, Snowflake, Fabric).
