This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of the product outcomes for the team from initial problem definition to the delivery of accepted, in-production software. You are responsible for the roadmap commitments and maintaining quality standards.
• Guide the agent array across three execution modes: Interactive (real-time collaboration with an agent), Supervised (where agents suggest changes and you review each pull request), and Fully Autonomous (agents manage a scoped workstream independently while you review the results).
• Develop production front-end code from the same repository as the engineering team, subject to engineering review. You directly create the user experience instead of detailing it for others to implement.
• Employ product and design rigor throughout all phases — discovery, user research, information architecture, interaction design, and prioritization — ensuring that an increase in build velocity does not diminish upstream rigor.
• Write the prompts, evaluation criteria, and acceptance criteria that translate product intent into tasks for agents to perform and for verifiers to validate.
• Uphold the human review gate and accessibility standards in collaboration with the lead engineer, ensuring that no agent-generated code goes to production without thorough human review and that WCAG compliance and conformance requirements are integrated from the beginning.
• Establish and sustain the team’s delivery cadence, contributing enhancements to the shared operating model that other delivery teams can adopt.
• Proven experience in end-to-end product delivery as a builder. You have managed a product surface comprehensively — making product decisions, designing the user experience, and personally developing front-end code deployed for production users.
• Expertise in production front-end engineering. Proficient in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and React (or a similar framework), with strong CSS skills and the ability to navigate seamlessly between design files and application code.
• Strong design discipline. Demonstrated expertise in information architecture, interaction design, and accessibility (WCAG), with the ability to assess experience quality beyond just functional completeness.
• Experience directing AI coding agents. Practical knowledge of utilizing coding agents in production work, including an understanding of their failure modes and the controls necessary to leverage them without sacrificing quality or oversight.
• A proven history of defining team processes. You have created a methodology, framework, or standard that has been adopted by other practitioners.
• Ability to operate with high autonomy in ambiguous situations. You can create structure and guidance where none exists.
• Flexible Time Off – Take the time you need to rest, recharge, and live your life.
• Company-Wide Wellbeing Days – Paid days off to unplug and prioritize your mental health.
• Work From Home Reimbursement – Support for creating an effective home office environment.
• Multiple Health Plan Options – Including a plan that is fully covered by the employer.
• Employer HSA Contributions – Available when enrolled in a High-Deductible Health Plan.
• Fitness Reimbursement Program – Stay active in a way that suits you.
• On-Demand Mental Health Support – Access to Headspace and other wellness resources.
• Paid Parental Leave – Available for both birthing and non-birthing parents.
• Traditional & Roth 401(k) – Accompanied by a generous company match.
• Life & AD&D Insurance – 100% employer-paid coverage for your peace of mind.
• Online Learning Platforms – Enhance your professional development.
• Competitive Salary & Bonuses – Your contributions are acknowledged and rewarded.
