AI Lead – Product Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Develop and spearhead a forward-thinking AI infrastructure roadmap

• Propel innovation and incorporate advanced AI research into product offerings

• Utilize emerging methodologies such as generative AI and knowledge graphs for tangible healthcare solutions

• Mentor and support a diverse AI team

• Ensure that AI applications are groundbreaking, reliable, and compliant with applicable regulations

• Influence the organization's strategy for sustainable AI development

• Design and enhance a long-term strategy for AI infrastructure

• Anticipate market dynamics and recognize risks and opportunities related to AI implementation

• Collaborate with senior management, product teams, and subject matter experts

• Align AI initiatives with business objectives and clinical priorities

• Effectively communicate strategic direction and research findings

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a technical lead overseeing teams of researchers, data scientists, or engineers

• Over 10 years of experience in data science, deep learning, expert systems, generative AI, and machine learning

• Strong analytical abilities with a knack for creatively applying AI to complex healthcare challenges

• Proficiency in staying at the forefront of AI trends and utilizing emerging technologies

• Understanding and readiness to implement HIPAA and relevant data privacy regulations

• Proven capability to provide vision and direction for AI teams

• Experience in building and managing multidisciplinary teams

• Ability to convey complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including senior executives

• Excellent collaboration skills with product development, regulatory affairs, and marketing teams

• Start-up experience, particularly as a previous founder or early engineering team member (preferred)

• Familiarity with or experience in working with Oura, Whoop, Apple Watch, and CGMs (preferred)

• Knowledge of integrating imaging, genomics, text, and sensor data into AI workflows (preferred)

• Experience in deploying AI solutions on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and/or edge devices (preferred)
