AI Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and implement AI agents and agent flows to address business and product challenges.

• Build and maintain the agent harness: orchestration, tools, context management, memory, and evaluations.

• Integrate language models (LLMs) with internal systems, third-party APIs, and data sources.

• Develop the necessary frontend and backend to deploy solutions into production.

• Establish best practices for AI development within the team (prompts, evaluations, security, costs).

• Support other teams in adopting AI tools and agents.

• Monitor the quality, cost, and performance of implemented solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience as a full stack developer.

• Experience with backend (Python, Node.js, or TypeScript) and frontend (React or similar).

• Practical knowledge of LLMs and their APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.).

• Experience building agents or flows using frameworks such as LangGraph, PydanticAI, LangChain, or similar.

• Familiarity with RAG, tool calling, MCP, and context management.

• Experience integrating APIs, webhooks, and external services.

• Proficiency in database management (SQL and/or NoSQL) and understanding of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

• Ability to lead technically and communicate decisions clearly.

• Experience with LLM evaluations and observability tools (Langfuse, LangSmith, or similar) — desirable.

• Advanced use of AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) — desirable.

• Knowledge of vector databases — desirable.

• Experience in regulated environments or fintech — desirable.
