AI Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with AI engineers on ongoing AI initiatives

• Develop small-scale AI prototypes and proofs of concept

• Explore prompts and various AI models

• Evaluate AI outputs for quality, accuracy, and consistency

• Assist with basic RAG pipelines and document-centric AI systems

• Create compact Python scripts and integrate APIs

• Design and test straightforward AI agents and workflows

• Prepare datasets and documentation for AI research

• Investigate emerging AI tools, models, and frameworks

• Conduct testing of internal AI products prior to launch

• Understand how AI systems are monitored post-deployment

⛳️ Requirements

• Student, recent graduate, or a self-taught developer with a passion for artificial intelligence

• Eager to acquire hands-on experience working with an AI engineering team

• Background or interest in Python, large language models, prompt engineering, AI agents, RAG, APIs, automation, testing, and responsible AI

• Familiarity with or a willingness to learn about vector databases, embeddings, data preparation, basic data pipelines, Git, AI monitoring, observability, and AI governance

• No previous professional experience in AI engineering necessary
