AI Integration & Automation Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and provide support for AI-driven automations, integrations, and workflow solutions tailored for Managed Services.

• Create AI orchestration models that connect systems, data, prompts, APIs, scripts, and operational workflows.

• Develop automations that minimize manual labor, enhance service delivery efficiency and consistency, and generate measurable cost savings.

• Construct reusable components, connectors, scripts, and workflow designs applicable across various use cases.

• Support internal AI orchestration capabilities and associated automation services.

• Assess operational challenges and determine if AI, automation, integration, process enhancement, or a combination thereof is the optimal solution.

• Identify systemic automation possibilities and validate efficiency improvements or business value through data, outcome metrics, and stakeholder feedback.

• Create workflows powered by LLMs, agentic automation frameworks, and AI-supported operational processes with safeguards and fallback mechanisms.

• Integrate enterprise tools, monitoring platforms, ITSM systems, cloud services, and internal applications.

• Diagnose automation defects, integration issues, and AI workflow challenges; implement robust solutions and continuous enhancements.

• Document solution designs, configurations, support procedures, ownership details, release notes, and knowledge articles.

• Engage in testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), release preparations, change management, and production support.

• Collaborate with engineers, service owners, process owners, developers, and stakeholders to comprehend requirements and validate results.

• Convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Keep abreast of advancements in AI automation development, orchestration models, LLM tools, integration frameworks, and service operations trends.

• No supervisory duties; may receive indirect technical guidance from senior AI automation experts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in developing automations, integrations, scripts, workflows, or application solutions within enterprise or service environments.

• Practical experience with Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, APIs, workflow platforms, or low-code/no-code automation tools.

• Background in designing or supporting AI-enabled workflows, LLM-driven processes, AI agents, orchestration models, or intelligent automation solutions.

• Knowledge of prompt design, structured outputs, human-in-the-loop patterns, safeguards, fallback mechanisms, and production AI considerations.

• Experience with ITSM tools, monitoring/observability tools, cloud platforms, ticketing systems, knowledge bases, or internal business applications.

• Proficient in analyzing business or operational processes and translating requirements into functional automation solutions.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities, encompassing root-cause analysis, trade-off assessment, and sustainable fixes.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across both technical and operational teams.

• Critical thinking, disciplined documentation, capability to manage multiple priorities, and an eagerness to experiment and iterate.

• Familiarity with Managed Services operations, ITIL practices, or service management processes is advantageous.

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus.

• Knowledge of data pipelines, vector databases, embeddings, event-driven workflows, or containerized environments is beneficial.

• Certifications related to AI, automation, cloud platforms, ITIL, or service management are preferred but not mandatory.
