This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Set up and implement AI tools as outlined in Phase 1 engagement plans (e.g., Copilot for M365, Harvey, Clio Duo, Casetext, document automation tools).
• Design, test, and document automations and AI-driven workflows utilizing platforms such as Make, Zapier, Power Automate, or similar alternatives.
• Execute the technical environment setup, including tenant configuration, user provisioning, API connections, integration testing, and quality assurance validation.
• Conduct data mapping and basic data migration tasks necessary for the onboarding of AI tools.
• Keep implementation logs, configuration notes, and handoff documentation for each engagement in the SMB Team’s systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical challenges during deployment; escalate any blockers to the fCTO with comprehensive documentation.
• Provide reusable templates, implementation checklists, and workflow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the SMB Team practice library.
• Stay informed about legal AI tools and integration capabilities; proactively communicate relevant updates or new options to the fCTO.
• Assist the fCTO in pre-engagement scoping by evaluating technical feasibility and effort estimates for proposed implementations.
• 2–4 years of practical experience in a technical implementation, IT support, or automation engineering position.
• Proven ability to configure and integrate SaaS tools; experience with M365/Google Workspace environments and API-based integrations.
• Proficient in at least one automation platform (Make, Zapier, Power Automate, n8n, or similar).
• Familiarity with AI/LLM-based tools and their configuration in a business setting; prior experience in legal tech is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Strong documentation skills — capable of producing clear SOPs, configuration guides, and implementation logs autonomously.
• Comfortable working from a scoping document or engagement plan without needing step-by-step guidance.
• Basic understanding of data privacy and security considerations relevant to cloud and AI tool implementation.
• Must be capable of independently executing technical implementation tasks based on a specification or engagement plan — this role is responsible for delivery, not strategy.
• Must create comprehensive and detailed documentation for every configuration and deployment; any undocumented work is considered incomplete.
• Must promptly and clearly communicate blockers and risks to the fCTO — no surprises should arise.
• Must stay current on AI tools and integration platforms; a willingness to quickly learn new tools is crucial.
• Must collaborate within the SMB Team’s systems and contribute to shared playbooks — this is a team effort, not an individual role.
• No direct communication with clients is required; all client-facing interactions are managed by the fCTO. However, the work produced must be polished enough for presentation to clients by the fCTO.
• We cover 75% of your Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance for you and your family.
• Flexible vacation policy.
• Educational budget for team members for courses, events, and books.
• Company-sponsored activities, outings, and retreats.
• 401(k) plan with a 3% match.
• Work from home or in the office — the choice is yours!
