AI Harness Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Implement new features and resolve bugs with an emphasis on reliability, performance, and user experience.

• Create and develop innovative tools and modules that enable advanced AI functionalities.

• Ensure compatibility with a diverse range of AI model types and sizes.

• Uphold the quality of the codebase through adherence to coding standards, conducting code reviews, and utilizing automated testing.

• Develop and implement peer-to-peer (P2P) technology for local AI applications.

• Facilitate connections to local AI and enhance AI assistant functionalities through QVAC.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing production-level software.

• Extensive background in P2P systems, AI/LLM tools, or both.

• Practical experience in creating agent harnesses, including tool invocation, agent loops, context management, and structured output generation.

• Proficient in building evaluation and testing frameworks for non-deterministic systems.

• Strong skills in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experienced in modeling complex states, including synchronization protocols and agent loops.

• Contributions to open-source projects related to P2P, networking, or AI tooling.

• Expertise in designing for failure scenarios, such as network partitions, model inaccuracies, timeouts, and retries.
