AI Harness Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Deliver new functionalities and resolve bugs with an emphasis on reliability, performance, and user satisfaction.

• Design and create new tools and modules that facilitate new AI capabilities while ensuring the success of a diverse range of model types and sizes.

• Uphold high standards of code quality through consistent coding practices, code reviews, and automated testing.

• Implement and develop P2P technology for local AI applications.

• Innovate methods to connect individuals with local AI, making it an integral part of daily life.

• Elevate QVAC to new heights by leveraging P2P technology to achieve limitless scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing production software, particularly with deep knowledge in P2P systems, AI/LLM tooling, or both.

• Practical experience in constructing agent harnesses, which includes tool invocation, agent loops, context management, and structured outputs.

• Background in building evaluation and testing infrastructure for non-deterministic systems.

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience in modeling complex states, ranging from synchronization protocols to agent loops.

• Contributions to open-source projects related to P2P, networking, or AI tooling.

• Experience in designing systems to withstand failures, such as network partitions, model errors, timeouts, and retries.
