AI Harness Engineer

• Implement new features and resolve bugs while prioritizing reliability, performance, and user experience.

• Create and develop new tools and modules that facilitate advanced AI capabilities.

• Ensure successful implementation across a diverse range of model types and sizes.

• Uphold high code quality standards through coding conventions, peer code reviews, and automated testing.

• Design and execute P2P technologies for integration with local AI systems.

• Elevate QVAC to new heights by leveraging P2P technology for unlimited scalability.

• Innovate methods to connect individuals with local AI and seamlessly incorporate AI into daily activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in writing modular, maintainable code.

• Experienced in creating and managing reusable npm packages.

• Strong skills in testing and debugging processes.

• Solid understanding of and ease with developing and utilizing AI tools.

• Keen interest or background in P2P technologies or distributed systems.

• Comfortable working within a remote, globally dispersed team.

• Effective communication skills.

• Over 5 years of experience in building production-level software.

• Extensive experience in P2P systems, AI/LLM tooling, or both fields.

• Practical knowledge in building agent harnesses, including tool invocation, agent loops, context management, and structured outputs.

• Familiarity with developing evaluation and test infrastructures for non-deterministic systems.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience in modeling complex states, from synchronization protocols to agent loops.

• Contributions to open-source projects related to P2P, networking, or AI tooling.

• Knowledge in designing systems for failure, including handling network partitions, model errors, timeouts, and retries.

• A passionate hacker who continuously engages in experimentation.
