AI Governance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold AI governance policies, standards, and frameworks in accordance with regulatory mandates.

• Recognize potential organizational risks and assess their severity and likelihood.

• Perform risk assessments on AI models, focusing on bias, explainability, data quality, and security.

• Oversee third-party AI tools and manage associated vendor risks.

• Assist with both internal and external audits concerning AI systems.

• Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, Security, and Technology departments.

• Enhance organizational understanding of AI governance obligations.

• Aid teams in adopting compliant AI methodologies.

• Direct risk assessments and the design of controls.

• Apply AI/ML expertise to facilitate governance efforts.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in information security, emphasizing IT audit and/or Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).

• Familiarity with risk management software and tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• A proven team player.

• Preferred: Experience with ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and SSAE 18/SOC audits.

• Preferred: Relevant security or compliance certifications, such as Security+, CISA, CRISC, or CISSP.

• Extensive knowledge of AI/ML concepts, including model types, training, deployment, bias, and explainability.

• Understanding of regulatory requirements, including GDPR and ISO 42001.
