This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Contribute to a range of insights reports that are client-facing.
• Collect and analyze performance data from social media platforms in accordance with company protocols.
• Achieve proficiency in Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, and YouTube Studio.
• Create AI-assisted workflows for tasks such as data cleaning, initial analysis, chart creation, narrative drafting, and quality assurance checks.
• Utilize large language models like Claude and ChatGPT to explore datasets, validate conclusions, and formulate hypotheses.
• Ensure the accuracy of AI-generated outputs before client delivery by verifying source data and identifying erroneous claims.
• Design visually appealing and consistently formatted reports and presentations.
• Derive content and strategic recommendations based on the analysis of clients' social media accounts.
• Compile recommendations into written formats for external stakeholders.
• Document prompts, workflows, and automations for collective team usage.
• Identify areas for improvement to enhance report quality and client value.
• Update and maintain documentation for reporting processes.
• Monitor client and competitor social media accounts to gain insights into effective social media strategies.
• Exceptional numeracy skills with the ability to analyze data both quantitatively and qualitatively.
• Authentic hands-on experience utilizing AI tools in practical settings.
• Capability to clearly articulate what you have developed, automated, or expedited, including any challenges encountered.
• A healthy level of skepticism and the ability to confidently identify incorrect model outputs.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Unmatched attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Experience in social media is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with creating and executing social media performance reports is a desirable asset.
• Knowledge of third-party social analytics tools like Sprout Social, Sprinklr, or Social Insider is a plus.
• Experience with native social analytics tools such as Facebook Creator Studio, YouTube Studio, or TikTok Analytics is also a plus.
• Basic scripting skills in Python, SQL, or Apps Script would be beneficial.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Zapier, Make, n8n, or agentic AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or custom GPTs is a plus.
• A side project, script, or workflow developed to address a specific problem is a nice-to-have.
• Availability to work from Saturday to Wednesday, 10:00 am–6:30 pm GMT regularly.
• Legal eligibility to work in South Africa without restrictions or valid work authorization through a visa.
• Up to ZAR 350,000 annually.
