AI Factory Customer Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Act as the chief technical liaison between clients and Armada’s Product and Engineering teams, converting real-world needs into practical designs.

• Offer hands-on technical support for AI Factory solutions, which include modular and liquid-cooled data centers and NVIDIA-based GPU systems.

• Guide clients on workload appropriateness, rack-level engineering, system architecture, and deployment considerations.

• Conduct technical demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and collaborative sessions customized for client environments and limitations.

• Establish trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders across engineering, infrastructure, IT, OT, and security domains.

• Empower Sales and field teams by simplifying intricate infrastructure subjects into clear, outcome-focused narratives.

• Assume full responsibility for technical engagements, demonstrating curiosity, urgency, and a solutions-oriented approach.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience); advanced degrees are advantageous.

• Over 5 years of experience in data center engineering, infrastructure engineering, pre-sales/sales engineering, or solution architecture.

• Solid foundation in compute, networking, and storage, including GPU-based AI systems (e.g., NVIDIA DGX, HGX, MGX).

• Practical experience with data center infrastructure, encompassing MEP systems, cooling designs, and rack-level engineering.

• In-depth knowledge of modular and/or liquid-cooled data center architectures, power density, and thermal management.

• Capability to convert AI workload requirements into scalable, production-ready infrastructure designs.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, virtualization, and contemporary enterprise infrastructure.

• Comfort in operating within complex, active customer environments, with strong troubleshooting abilities.

• Skill in building credibility with IT and OT stakeholders, especially in industrial or energy-related contexts.

• Exceptional communication abilities, capable of engaging both highly technical teams and executive audiences.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.
