AI Engineer – AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design agent architectures: individual agents, multi-agent orchestration, planning, memory, and tool usage.

• Implement agents using Amazon Bedrock (Agents, AgentCore, Knowledge Bases, Guardrails) and frameworks like Strands Agents, LangGraph, or similar.

• Integrate agents with APIs and internal systems via MCP, Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.

• Construct RAG pipelines with vector databases: OpenSearch Serverless, Aurora pgvector, and S3 Vectors.

• Define evaluation and observability strategies regarding response quality, tool usage, regressions, traces, cost, and latency.

• Apply security best practices, including IAM, tool isolation, prompt injection control, and human-in-the-loop methodologies.

• Automate deployment using infrastructure as code (CDK or Terraform) and CI/CD processes.

• Collaborate with product, data, and business teams to transition from prototype to production.

• Work on data engineering, artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, data strategy, governance, integration, and architecture projects for national and international clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in software development or data/ML engineering.

• More than 1 year of experience implementing LLM solutions in production, preferably with agents or workflows involving tools.

• Strong experience in AWS: Bedrock, Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Knowledge of agent patterns: ReAct, planner-executor, supervisor/worker, reflection, and memory/context management.

• Experience with IaC (CDK or Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Professional level of English (B2 or higher).

• TypeScript knowledge is a plus.

• AWS certifications: Solutions Architect, Machine Learning Engineer, or AI Practitioner are valued.

• Experience with MCP and A2A is valued.

• Familiarity with LLM evaluation frameworks: Ragas, DeepEval, Bedrock Evaluations is valued.

• Experience in AI governance, AI Act, or regulated environments is valued.

• Contributions to open source or public projects involving agents are valued.
