AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Create and develop autonomous agents that efficiently execute critical phases of the procurement workflow.

• Establish human review checkpoints in situations where autonomy poses significant risks.

• Take ownership of the entire agent lifecycle: from design and development to deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvements.

• Equip agents with comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting capabilities.

• Collaborate closely with commercial and operations teams to translate workflow steps into agent specifications.

• Optimize for reliability, cost, and latency within an active procurement marketplace.

• Continuously enhance agents using insights derived from production data and failure analysis.

• Develop production-quality autonomous agents for sourcing, quoting, order matching, supplier follow-ups, compliance checks, and various other procurement activities.

• Solid foundation in software engineering principles with a focus on building dependable systems.

• Proficient in LLM APIs and orchestration frameworks.

• Experienced in tool utilization and function calling.

• Strong expertise in Python programming.

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure.

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.

• Capable of designing human-in-the-loop systems.

• Proven experience in developing and deploying AI agents in a live production setting.

• Experience in managing systems post-launch, including monitoring, debugging, and iterating based on production data.

• Ability to navigate and thrive in ambiguous environments with limited infrastructure.

• Must possess the legal right to work in the country of residence.
