AI Conversation Recording Contributor, Lingala

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.

📋 Description

• Collect or record natural, spontaneous speech following project guidelines.

• Engage in or capture speech from approved real-life contexts, such as workplace dialogues or informal one-on-one conversations.

• Complete tasks involving individual or two-person conversational speech, or participate in interactions with an AI or machine-based system.

• Annotate the gathered speech data in accordance with provided instructions.

• Supply necessary information and metadata related to each recording.

• Assist in the evaluation and advancement of speech recognition and conversational AI technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Lingala.

• Authentic pronunciation and a strong familiarity with Lingala through daily use.

• Advanced proficiency in English to comprehend written instructions.

• Must not imitate any dialects or accents that are not their own.

• Experience in speech recording or data annotation projects is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Strong attention to detail in providing annotations and recording metadata.

• Ability to adhere to detailed project and recording instructions.

• A quiet room or recording space with minimal background noise.

• A computer microphone or headset with a microphone.

• A reliable internet connection.

• Capability to access and use an online recording platform.
