AI Conversation Recording Contributor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Record or gather natural, spontaneous speech in alignment with project specifications.

• Engage in or capture speech from approved real-life contexts, such as workplace dialogues or casual one-on-one conversations.

• Complete individual or two-person conversational speech tasks, or take part in voice or voice-text interactions with an AI or machine-based system.

• Annotate gathered speech data in accordance with provided guidelines.

• Supply necessary information and metadata related to each recording.

• Assist in the evaluation and development of speech recognition and conversational AI technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Zulu.

• Authentic pronunciation and a strong familiarity with Zulu through daily usage.

• Advanced level of English to comprehend written instructions.

• Must refrain from imitating dialects or accents that do not belong to them.

• Experience in speech recording or data annotation projects is beneficial, but not mandatory.

• Exceptional attention to detail when providing annotations and recording metadata.

• Ability to adhere to detailed project and recording guidelines.

• A quiet room or recording space with minimal background noise.

• A computer microphone or headset equipped with a microphone.

• A reliable internet connection.

• Capability to access and utilize an online recording platform.
