AI Conversation Recording Contributor, Afrikaans

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Capture or gather natural, spontaneous speech in accordance with project guidelines.

• Engage in or record speech from approved real-world scenarios, such as workplace interactions or casual one-on-one conversations.

• Complete speech tasks involving individual or paired conversations, or take part in voice or voice-text interactions with an AI or machine-based system.

• Annotate the collected speech data based on the provided instructions.

• Submit all necessary information and metadata related to each recording.

• Assist in the evaluation and advancement of speech recognition and conversational AI technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Afrikaans (South Africa).

• Genuine pronunciation and strong familiarity with Afrikaans through daily usage.

• Advanced English proficiency to comprehend written instructions.

• Must refrain from mimicking dialects or accents that are not their own.

• Previous experience in speech recording or data annotation projects is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Excellent attention to detail when providing annotations and recording metadata.

• Capability to adhere to detailed project and recording instructions.

• A quiet room or recording environment with minimal background noise.

• Access to a computer microphone or headset with a microphone.

• A dependable internet connection.

• Ability to access and utilize an online recording platform.
