AI Backend Developer, Java, Golang, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services for Binance Square, concentrating on content discovery, recommendation systems, and AI-driven features.

• Construct and manage scalable microservices capable of handling millions of daily requests, ensuring reliability, minimal latency, and smooth degradation during peak loads.

• Integrate LLMs and AI/ML pipelines into production backend systems, including RAG architectures, prompt orchestration, and agent-based workflows.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, DevOps, and frontend engineers to deliver comprehensive end-to-end solutions.

• Design and enhance data pipelines for content indexing, real-time analytics, and ML feature serving.

• Conduct code reviews, develop thorough tests, and advocate for architectural enhancements.

• Diagnose and resolve production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.

• Contribute to the creation of technical design documents and engage in architectural decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in back-end software development.

• Strong expertise in Java (primary) or Golang/Python.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Thorough understanding of software frameworks, design patterns, and microservices architecture.

• Significant experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and Redis.

• Familiarity with AWS/GCP/Azure and Docker/Kubernetes.

• Practical experience in integrating AI/LLM technologies into production systems; experience with RAG, prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, or agent-based pipelines is a considerable advantage.

• Experience with high-throughput, low-latency backend systems catering to millions of users.

• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system design.

• Capability to work independently and communicate effectively in a distributed, cross-time-zone team setting.
