AI Automation Engineer, Remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business teams to gain insights into workflows, data processes, and operational inefficiencies.

• Design, prototype, and implement AI-driven automations, internal dashboards, lightweight applications, and enhancements to workflows.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools, APIs, automation platforms, SQL, Python, databases, and low-code solutions.

• Integrate disparate systems to minimize repetitive manual tasks.

• Enhance accuracy across critical processes.

• Develop reporting tools and internal applications to boost visibility and aid in informed decision-making.

• Recognize practical applications for LLMs, AI agents, and associated technologies.

• Take ownership of projects from problem identification through to deployment, iteration, and measurable business impact.

• Proactively identify and implement enhancements that lessen manual workload, boost visibility, improve accuracy, or speed up business operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in software engineering, automation, data engineering, technical operations, or a related field.

• Strong expertise with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar platforms.

• Proficient in working with APIs, databases, SQL, Python, and integration tools.

• Experience in creating lightweight internal applications, dashboards, or workflow automations.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly grasp business processes.

• A self-starter capable of identifying issues, proposing solutions, and executing initiatives without detailed specifications.

• Comfortable with rapid movement, experimentation, and developing practical solutions.

• Proven ability to build, resourcefulness, business acumen, and a track record of delivering valuable solutions.

• Previous experience in forward-deployed engineering is not mandatory.
