AI Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and deploy AI-driven automation workflows for sales, marketing, and operations at Pragmatico and for our clients.

• Oversee client automation initiatives, conducting discovery sessions to comprehend workflows and create detailed AI automation roadmaps that focus on high-impact opportunities.

• Develop integrations that connect various business systems (HubSpot, Google Workspace, PandaDoc, Fireflies.ai, and others) utilizing Zapier, Make.com, and custom API connections.

• Utilize Claude API and other LLM APIs to establish intelligent automations, including research generation, content creation, document analysis, meeting summarization, and dynamic deliverable generation.

• Clearly communicate technical concepts and automation solutions to client stakeholders, highlighting the business value.

• Educate client teams on how to maintain and expand the automations you create, ensuring long-term adoption and success.

• Develop automation patterns, best practices, and reusable frameworks that allow Pragmatico and our clients to scale effectively.

• Contribute to thought leadership content that positions Pragmatico as a pioneer in practical AI implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in building production automation systems with a demonstrated history of delivering business results.

• Mastery of Zapier and/or Make.com, including the ability to create complex multi-step workflows with conditional logic, error handling, and API integrations.

• Extensive hands-on experience with AI/LLM APIs (Claude API, OpenAI, or similar) for programmatic integration, beyond just chat interface utilization.

• Proven capability to integrate various business systems through APIs, with particular experience in HubSpot API and Google Workspace APIs.

• Strong technical background in REST APIs, webhooks, JSON data manipulation, and workflow architecture.

• Competence in leading discovery sessions, collecting requirements, and translating business needs into technical automation solutions.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills - able to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and establish credibility with C-level executives.

• Self-motivated problem solver with a solid understanding of systems thinking and the ability to design solutions rather than merely executing requirements.
