AI Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Analyzing business processes in collaboration with departments and creating concepts for automated implementation.

• Development, testing, and implementation of RPA bots (e.g., using UiPath or similar tools).

• Designing and realizing AI-supported agents/workflows (tool-calling, prompting, guardrails, evaluation).

• Maintenance, care, and further development of existing bots and workflows.

• Identifying potential and continuously optimizing automation processes, focusing on stability, quality, and benefits.

• Interfaces & integrations: creating and expanding interfaces for agents (e.g., Agent - SAP (MCP)).

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree or training in the IT field (e.g., (business) computer science, specialized IT) or a comparable qualification.

• Relevant professional experience in RPA/workflow automation and/or AI-supported workflows/agents.

• Experience in analyzing business processes and creating automation concepts in collaboration with departments.

• Practical experience in the development, testing, and operation of RPA bots (UiPath or comparable), including maintenance/monitoring.

• Knowledge in implementing AI agents/workflows (tool-calling, prompting, guardrails, evaluation).

• Very good knowledge of interfaces & integrations (REST/JSON, authentication), ideally with SAP integration.

• Solid foundations in software development (e.g., Python/JavaScript), Git, logging/monitoring, as well as clean documentation.

• Strong communication skills, structured and team-oriented – enjoyment in pragmatic solutions with measurable benefits.

• Excellent German language skills, both spoken and written.
