AI & Automation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Conduct process discovery alongside the lead analyst by interviewing and shadowing teams.

• Develop current and future-state process maps and translate findings into clear requirements.

• Create and manage the A2 harness as a comprehensive source of truth for workflows, systems, conventions, projects, and ownership.

• Redesign workflows with AI integration from the outset.

• Choose skills, connectors, and automations to enhance redesigned workflows.

• Construct Claude Skills, set up connectors, and create n8n workflows.

• Draft production specifications for intricate engineering builds.

• Assess the business impact of automations and prioritize workflows for broader organizational implementation.

• Regularly refresh the AI harness and team processes, phasing out outdated tools and incorporating new capabilities.

• Conduct interviews with A2 team members and observe discovery sessions.

• Launch the inaugural version of the A2 harness and promote daily team adoption.

• Independently complete process maps.

• Develop two or three Skills, connectors, or automations and evaluate time efficiency before and after implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in AI and regular use of AI tools extending beyond basic chat functionalities, including projects, custom instructions, Skills/GPTs/Gems, connectors, or MCP.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

• Capacity to guide focused discovery discussions and generate precise requirements.

• Self-driven and enthusiastic about ongoing learning and adapting to new tools and technologies.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

• Experience with automation tools like n8n, Zapier, or Make is a plus.

• Familiarity with Git, Markdown, and command line, or with Claude Code is a plus.

• Basic scripting knowledge in Python, JavaScript, or SQL is advantageous.

• Experience in process mapping, swimlanes, BPMN, or business analysis is a benefit.

• Familiarity with Asana, Notion, and Google Workspace is a plus.

• A national police history check and reference checks are required prior to commencement.

• Must have full unrestricted working rights in Australia without the need for company visa sponsorship.
