AI-Assisted Code Analyst – Java, Spring Boot, AI Tools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Create and implement technical solutions and software components that align with business and technical specifications.

• Evaluate, refine, and enhance Java and Spring Boot applications to boost code quality, scalability, maintainability, and performance.

• Mitigate technical debt by adopting best coding practices and quality enhancements.

• Utilize AI-driven development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Devin, or equivalent solutions to expedite code analysis, refactoring, and documentation.

• Work alongside engineering teams to pinpoint performance bottlenecks and suggest technical enhancements.

• Assist in backend and frontend development tasks adhering to contemporary engineering standards.

• Contribute to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes.

• Record technical solutions and developments using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and ALM.

• Collaborate with production support teams as necessary to address technical challenges.

• Ensure applications adhere to cybersecurity, quality, and development standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Software Developer or Code Analyst.

• Extensive experience with: Java, Java Database Connectivity, J2EE, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Maven, Node.js (JADE/Pug), HTML, Oracle Database, REST APIs, and Microservices.

• Familiarity with: Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as: GitHub Copilot, Devin, or similar AI coding support tools.

• Demonstrated experience in enhancing code quality, minimizing technical debt, and boosting development productivity.

• Strong understanding of application security and code quality tools like: SonarQube and Fortify.

• Experience in Agile software development environments.

• Language proficiency in Spanish: C1 minimum (required), English: B1 minimum (B2 preferred).
