AI App Engineer – FastAPI, React, EKS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Work closely with non-technical stakeholders who have developed the applications themselves.

• Review and finalize code created by citizen developers, specifically for React/JavaScript frontends and FastAPI backends.

• Manage security compliance and prepare applications for enterprise security assessments.

• Deploy applications on AWS EKS and oversee their ongoing operations.

• Simultaneously handle multiple parallel workstreams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Python and FastAPI, capable of navigating and understanding an existing codebase without complete context.

• Comfortable with reading and troubleshooting React/JavaScript code.

• Hands-on experience with AWS, particularly Kubernetes in a production environment (EKS).

• Knowledgeable about Claude API, MCP connectivity, and agent architectures.

• Awareness of security practices within large enterprise settings, including the ability to detect data leaks, unauthorized access points, and IAM misconfigurations.

• Experience in reviewing and enhancing code written by non-engineers prior to production deployment.

• Strong sense of ownership, being accountable for the final quality of deployed systems.

• Fluent in English with effective communication skills to engage with non-technical stakeholders.
