AI and Automation Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in the formulation and execution of Silver Cloud’s AI strategy and implementation roadmap.

• Gain a thorough understanding of Silver Cloud’s services, consulting methodologies, and internal workflows.

• Identify tasks that are manual, repetitive, or inefficient and are suitable for AI or automation.

• Conduct research on AI advancements, tools, and emerging practices.

• Maintain a prioritized list of AI opportunities based on value, feasibility, risk, and strategic alignment.

• Define experiments, pilot programs, and implementation strategies.

• Develop and test AI-enabled solutions utilizing generative AI, automation, data, and low-code tools.

• Collect requirements, test solutions, and integrate user feedback.

• Assess pilot results and recommend actions for adoption, enhancement, scaling, or discontinuation.

• Support the implementation, documentation, and review of successful solutions.

• Enhance the consulting delivery lifecycle and improve internal operations.

• Create AI-enabled tools, templates, and methodologies to streamline administration.

• Investigate AI applications in discovery, requirements gathering, project management, documentation, testing, reporting, and knowledge management.

• Identify opportunities to enhance the client proposition and develop new services or thought leadership.

• Serve as an internal AI advocate and develop expertise in the subject matter.

• Foster colleague confidence through demonstrations, workshops, guidance, and hands-on assistance.

• Develop prompt libraries, user manuals, playbooks, and best practice examples.

• Facilitate the adoption of new tools and innovative work practices.

• Promote responsible AI policies, principles, and controls.

• Take into account data protection, security, confidentiality, intellectual property, accuracy, bias, and human oversight.

• Evaluate new tools and use cases while escalating significant risks.

• Establish success metrics and monitor time, cost, quality, and business benefits.

• Provide regular updates to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and broader business on progress, outcomes, risks, and priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or equivalent practical experience in artificial intelligence, computer science, data science, business technology, information systems, or a related field.

• Additional education in AI, generative AI, machine learning, automation, data, or a related area through academic coursework, online courses, certifications, personal projects, or hands-on experimentation.

• Practical experience with generative AI tools for research, analysis, creation, automation, or problem-solving.

• Quick learning ability and proficiency in evaluating new technologies.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and a genuine interest in understanding processes.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess information, identify patterns, and draw reasoned conclusions.

• Confidence in experimenting with new tools through testing and iteration.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Highly organized and self-motivated, with the capacity to manage priorities and multiple activities or experiments.

• Comfortable operating in situations where the answers or approaches are not clearly defined.

• High integrity and diligence when managing confidential, personal, or client information.

• Collaborative attitude and willingness to work with colleagues across all organizational levels.

• Desirable: academic, personal, or professional projects in AI, automation, or technology.

• Desirable: experience with low-code or no-code automation platforms.

• Desirable: understanding of prompt design, APIs, data analysis, or workflow automation.

• Desirable: familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot or similar business technology.

• Desirable: awareness of AI governance, data protection, information security, and responsible AI principles.

• Desirable: experience in supporting change, improvement, or technology implementation projects.
