This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Engage with farmers, retailers, and seed dealers to promote CropVoice, educating them and generating enthusiasm to facilitate sales.
• Utilize your current network to enhance the visibility of CropVoice and boost sales efforts.
• Draw on a solid agronomic background to articulate the advantages of CropVoice in practical, value-focused terms for farmers and agronomists.
• Assist with local field operations, including the setup of plot networks and scouting activities.
• A bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Business, or a similar discipline is required.
• A robust agronomy background is essential; familiarity with crop disease management, fungicide applications, and agronomic decision-making for soybeans and corn is necessary.
• Certification as a Crop Advisor (CCA) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior experience in agricultural sales, retail, or a client-facing agronomy position is needed.
• Demonstrated ability or a strong motivation to prospect, make cold calls, and establish a business portfolio from the ground up for both channel partners and farmers.
• Must be capable of working outdoors in summer field conditions for extended durations and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• A valid driver's license is required.
