Agile Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Engage in all stages of software development, focusing on planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation.

• Assess business requirements to discover new processes or enhancements.

• Collaborate as a member of a cross-functional agile project team.

• Conduct thorough requirements analysis.

• Document workflows and processes.

• Execute user testing.

• Work closely with the Product Owner, Development Team, and Stakeholders.

• Create user stories that encapsulate the full scope of the project.

• Coordinate with government and program teams to identify Agile transformation opportunities.

• Take part in all Agile ceremonies.

• Mentor and coach teams and individuals on Agile values, principles, and practices.

• Assist teams in delivering high-quality products that align with customer needs and expectations.

• Track and evaluate the progress and effects of Agile development using appropriate metrics and tools.

• Aid the Agile team in determining resource allocations for seamless project delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with five (5) years of experience, or an Associate's Degree with seven (7) years of experience.

• Proven experience in leading Agile development within complex environments.

• Familiarity with various Agile frameworks and methodologies.

• Capacity to coach and influence teams and individuals at varying levels of maturity and seniority.

• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
