📋 Description

• Empower Product Engineering squads to operate efficiently through problem definition, discovery, delivery, release, and outcome measurement.

• Introduce consistency and rigor to squad methodologies, planning, progress visualization, and communication.

• Mentor squads in agile and product-focused practices, along with dual-track working methods.

• Steer the maturity of delivery practices and product-oriented planning and prioritization.

• Guide teams to prioritize outcomes over outputs and to assess customer and business impacts.

• Facilitate refinement sessions, retrospectives, and planning meetings as necessary.

• Advocate for a shift-left quality approach.

• Remove obstacles through innovative discussions and provide advice to teams.

• Suggest metrics for evaluating and enhancing team effectiveness.

• Stimulate change and experimentation while fostering a flexible agile mindset.

• Assist teams in maintaining clearly visualized roadmaps, delivery plans, and tracking progress.

• Identify gaps in consistency across squads and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address them.

• Oversee and enhance cross-squad engagements such as show-and-tells and team learning sessions.

• Discover opportunities for AI integration to expedite daily team operations.

• Partner with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Product Designers, Software Engineers, Data Analysts, and Product Engineering leadership.

• Immerse in one or two squads at a time to foster trust and drive measurable improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as an Agile Coach with cross-functional, self-organizing Agile teams.

• Background in fast-paced, customer-focused scale-ups.

• Experience in a remote-first, high-performance environment.

• In-depth knowledge of Agile and Lean thinking, values, and principles.

• Practical experience with Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, and XP, along with effective integration of these methodologies.

• Proficiency in teaching user story mapping, event storming, example mapping, and slicing.

• Experience coaching teams on focusing on outcomes rather than outputs and on continuous product discovery and delivery.

• Proven track record of enhancing discovery and quality practices, beyond just delivery speed.

• Comfortable ensuring accountability for agreed team practices and addressing gaps against standards.

• Progressive understanding of emerging Agile practices and concepts, including the influence of AI on team dynamics.
