Agile Coach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Develop mature, self-sufficient teams that take ownership of their processes, decisions, and outcomes.

• Guide engineering and product roles to collaboratively make decisions without relying on a single point of authority.

• Collaborate with product management to define scope and establish clear objectives.

• Facilitate challenging discussions that teams are not yet ready to handle independently, then gradually transition facilitation back to them.

• Identify obstacles to team autonomy and address them with supporting evidence.

• Integrate AI into the coaching methodology.

• Escalate systematic obstacles beyond the team level using data and a suggested course of action.

• Assist in organization-wide change initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with teams in Scrum environments (for external candidates).

• In-depth knowledge of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, with the ability to apply them contextually.

• Profound understanding of the Software & Product Development Lifecycle and engineering practices; familiarity with XP is a plus.

• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills, particularly in adult learning and training.

• Demonstrated capability in systems thinking and collaboration across multiple teams and departments.

• Experience in managing conflicts, fostering a feedback culture, and building trust-based relationships.

• A data-informed approach to improvement, including Evidence-Based Management (EBM), metrics, and forecasting.

• Strong skills in remote collaboration.

• Proficiency in English and Ukrainian.
