Agent Architect, Audit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop AI-driven workflows aimed at transforming the future of audit and assurance.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to convert audit processes into scalable product features.

• Engage directly with audit firms to gain insights into their workflows, challenges, and opportunities for automation.

• Identify edge cases, controls, and quality standards relevant to professional-services workflows.

• Work alongside the ML team to create AI agent functionalities for document analysis, testing methodologies, and evidence assessment.

• Reimagine audit processes and define how AI enhances professional judgment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a CPA license, or a Master’s degree in Accounting.

• 8–10+ years of audit experience at a prestigious public accounting firm, holding a Senior Manager position or higher.

• Proven expertise in auditing financial statements from start to finish.

• Experience in designing and implementing audit workpapers across various financial statement categories.

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.

• Familiarity with audit planning and risk assessment methodologies.

• Experience in assessing internal controls (ICFR).

• Competence in performing substantive testing across key balance sheet and income statement areas.

• Capability to review financial statements and related disclosures.

• Background in managing multiple clients and industries.

• Exceptional attention to detail and precision.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex accounting concepts into product specifications.

• Strong prioritization abilities.

• Interest in AI and its influence on professional services.

• Enthusiasm for collaborating with engineers to develop new systems.
