Adult Care Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver services aimed at maintaining, enhancing, and protecting clients within their home environment in accordance with the client’s care plan.

• Support clients with daily living activities.

• Assist with shopping, running errands, and providing transportation.

• Manage prescription pickups and facilitate telehealth appointments.

• Conduct light housekeeping tasks.

• Prepare nutritious meals.

• Offer companionship and foster enduring relationships with clients.

• Accompany clients on outings.

• Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and feeding.

• Adhere to the established care plan.

• Communicate professionally with families and the care team.

• Support clients in living as pleasantly and independently as possible.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.

• Six months of experience as a Personal Attendant is preferred but not mandatory.

• Must demonstrate competence in providing personal assistance services through experience or testing.

• Strong interpersonal abilities.

• A compassionate demeanor, with patience, empathy, and integrity.

• Reliable transportation is essential.

• Valid and current driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required for driving.

• Capability to lift, transfer, and support clients who may be overweight or disabled.

• Ability to navigate within the home and remain standing for extended periods.

• Capacity to maintain composure and courtesy in high-pressure situations.

• Proficient in using Standard Precautions when exposed to infections, blood, and/or bodily fluids.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with patient mobility when necessary.

• Must possess and uphold a valid Driver’s License and current auto liability insurance.

• Excellent proficiency in computer software applications.

• Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, or similar software is required; proficiency is preferred.

• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision while maintaining confidentiality.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while upholding a courteous and positive attitude.
