Attendant, Adult Care Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver vital support and individualized care to clients in alignment with the Individualized Service Plan (ISP)

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene

• Oversee clients during activities to ensure safe functioning

• Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients and identify, eliminate, or report safety hazards

• Adhere to At Home Health policies, procedures, guidelines, and applicable state and federal regulations

• Promptly report significant changes in clients’ environments, behaviors, and situations to the Supervisor

• Maintain consistent communication with the Supervisor regarding updates and changes in schedule

• Interact with clients and their families in a respectful and professional manner

• Accurately record time using the EVV system or complete paper timesheets and necessary documentation

• Participate in mandatory meetings and training sessions

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory

• Preferably six months of experience as a Personal Attendant, though not required

• Competent in providing personal assistance services, demonstrated through experience or testing

• Strong interpersonal abilities, alongside compassion, patience, empathy, and integrity

• Reliable means of transportation

• Valid and current driver’s license and auto liability insurance if operating a vehicle; proof of current auto liability insurance required

• Capability to lift, transfer, and support clients who may be overweight or disabled

• Ability to navigate within the home and stand for extended periods

• Capacity to manage stressful situations calmly and courteously

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist patients as necessary

• Proficient in computer software applications

• Familiarity with MS Office, Excel, or similar software

• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, exercise professional judgment, and uphold confidentiality

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor
