This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the aerospace and defense sectors.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase market share within designated accounts.
• Enhance existing relationships while cultivating a pipeline of new opportunities to support both new and ongoing programs.
• Focus on competitor opportunities and secure new application wins.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and program teams.
• Convert technical requirements into customized solutions.
• Conduct customer visits, deliver presentations, and lead facility tours.
• Act as the primary commercial and technical liaison between customers and RBC divisions.
• Manage the entire sales cycle: from prospecting to closing.
• Maintain visibility of the sales pipeline using CRM tools.
• Achieve or surpass revenue and growth objectives.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer programs to uncover growth opportunities.
• Share insights with internal teams.
• Collaborate across functions to provide effective solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in B2B technical sales (preferred).
• Demonstrated success in business development and territory expansion.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to articulate technical concepts.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel 40–50%.
