AEM Project Manager, Contractor

Posted Jun 18

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Facilitate all essential ceremonies including standups, planning sessions, refinement, reviews/demos, and retrospectives.

• Safeguard and uphold a consistent sprint cadence, ensuring that sprint tasks fulfill 'Ready' standards, which include clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and the Definition of Done. Propel continuous improvement with actionable outcomes from retrospectives and ensure follow-through.

• Collaborate with Workstream and Delivery Leads to translate Project Brief priorities into a well-defined delivery plan.

• Partner with the Delivery Lead to break down PRDs into sprint-ready, refined stories that will be executed throughout the quarter.

• Create and manage the work hierarchy (Initiatives/Epics/Stories as agreed upon). Uphold Jira hygiene by maintaining accurate statuses, a clean board, and up-to-date priorities. Ensure that Jira accurately reflects the reality of ongoing and upcoming work, including delivery notes, risks, and dependencies.

• Identify and eliminate blockers. Monitor cross-team dependencies (such as engineering, UX/UI, content, and authoring). Highlight risks, trade-offs, and decision points early on; escalate as necessary.

• Keep stakeholders updated with clear and regular communications regarding sprint progress, milestones, scope changes, risks/issues, and decisions. Facilitate working sessions/workshops that transition work from 'idea' to 'ready to build.' Elevate priority conflicts to PgM/Workstream/Delivery leadership for resolution.

• Maintain well-organized project documentation (Project Brief, PRDs, transcripts, notes, etc.) in the designated knowledge base. Provide lightweight reporting on delivery health (e.g., throughput/velocity, cycle time) to aid in planning and forecasting.

• Coordinate cross-functional needs and encourage effective collaboration within the Pod. Partner with the Program Manager to assist the team in adopting consistent processes, roles, and reporting in the new operating model.

• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, content authors, developers, and marketing teams to carry out campaigns and projects. Manage web content production and publishing schedules in AEM to ensure timely delivery.

• Maintain delivery forecasts and modify plans as scope, capacity, or priorities shift, ensuring that decisions are transparent and well-documented.

• Handle third-party integrations, SEO optimization, and tracking implementation.

• Work alongside developers to enhance the front-end experience of AEM.

• Proficient in Agile workflows and Jira.

• Knowledgeable in SEO, web analytics, and content strategy.
