Advisory Consultant – Big 4 External Audit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with client CFOs, Controllers, and Finance Directors on various engagements.

• Prepare companies for activities related to capital markets and regulatory reporting requirements.

• Provide advice on accounting aspects concerning acquisitions, divestitures, and organizational restructuring.

• Improve financial reporting processes, close cycles, and internal control frameworks.

• Offer technical accounting guidance on intricate U.S. GAAP issues.

• Assist finance leadership with special projects and enterprise-wide initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in a Big 4 firm is essential: PwC, EY, Deloitte, or KPMG.

• 3–6 years of overall professional experience.

• A minimum of three full busy seasons in external audit or assurance is required.

• Experience with auditing Fortune 1000 companies, SEC registrants, or large private equity-backed clients.

• A solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement audit processes is necessary.

• Exposure to SOX / ICFR is preferred.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or hold a Green Card.

• Current residency in Florida is required, or willingness to work on-site in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton (Tampa may be considered based on project requirements).
