This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Acquire new accounts and renew existing ones in alignment with the company's and personal objectives.
• Foster and sustain relationships with clients, prospects, the service team, insurance company partners, and influential entities.
• Deliver proposals in a professional manner and thoroughly review coverage options.
• Effectively communicate with clients, prospects, insurance partners, and the service team.
• Complete sales processes, gather necessary documentation and applications, and inform the service team about policy sales.
• Generate leads through community involvement, seminars, industry connections, networking events, and referrals.
• Create insights and recommendations for potential accounts while adhering to the firm’s policies and procedures for onboarding new accounts.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, thoroughness, organization, and attention to detail.
• Stay informed about the insurance industry and underwriting standards.
• Positively represent the firm within the community and with insurance company partners.
• Identify opportunities for improvement within the firm, business segment, and processes.
• Escalate issues and discrepancies to the appropriate leadership.
• Achieve monthly new business targets.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned by leadership.
• Maintain all licenses mandated by the State Department of Insurance to provide risk management consulting or risk transfer solutions as needed in the states where the firm operates, or be willing and able to obtain all necessary licenses within the first 90 days of employment.
• Self-motivated individual with the capacity to influence others through effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
• Capability to learn the relevant insurance company and firm software applications.
• Exhibit core values and behaviors that align with the corporate culture.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds, along with some walking, standing, reaching, and computer use.
• Travel is a requirement.
