Advanced Practice Registered Nurse – Call In

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive care to individuals facing challenges with substance use and addiction.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients effectively.

• Create personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Prescribe necessary medications as part of the treatment process.

• Provide counseling and therapeutic services to support recovery.

• Serve as an on-call APRN from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

• Offer remote healthcare services with a specialization in addiction medicine and substance use disorders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside in Hawaii.

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in substance abuse or psychiatric-mental health nursing is required.

• A current, unencumbered APRN-Rx license in the state of Hawaii is necessary.

• Clinical experience in addiction medicine or psychiatric-mental health nursing is essential.

• Strong understanding of addiction medicine, including pharmacology, withdrawal management, and evidence-based treatment methods.

• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals are crucial.

• Ability to establish connections and provide support to individuals dealing with addiction.

• Capability to assess complex situations, formulate suitable treatment plans, and adapt to evolving patient needs.

• Current Board Certification as a Certified Addiction Registered Nurse — Advanced Practice (CARN-AP) or other nationally recognized certification is preferred.

• Preferred certification may be obtained by the start date if selected.
