Adolescent Telehealth Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Perform psychiatric assessments and conduct diagnostic evaluations.

• Create and manage personalized treatment plans.

• Administer medication management and monitoring.

• Engage in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and assist with discharge planning.

• Liaise with families regarding any medication adjustments and treatment suggestions.

• Conduct peer-to-peer reviews when necessary.

• Offer care coordination and consultation support to residential staff and treatment teams.

• Ensure timely and precise clinical documentation within the EHR, to be completed within 24 hours of service delivery.

• Deliver psychiatric services through telehealth for two residential treatment facilities catering to adolescent boys.

• Support a total census of 8 residents (4 in each home).

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry.

• Current, unrestricted medical license in North Carolina.

• DEA registration required.

• Proven experience in treating children and adolescents with behavioral health issues.

• Comfortable delivering services via telehealth.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities.
