📋 Description

• Accountable for the validation and gathering of patient demographic and insurance details.

• Conducts verification of insurance benefits and maintains accurate records of current coverage.

• Offers financial education and counseling services to patients.

• Serves as a knowledgeable resource for clinical departments concerning registration and financial counseling inquiries.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED - Mandatory.

• Associate's Degree - Desirable.

• Minimum of 2 years in a customer service environment - Essential.

• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Mandatory.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a medical facility, health insurance, or a related medical sector - Desirable.

• Coursework in Medical Terminology - Desirable.
