Admissions Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Manage incoming calls through designated call queues.

• Address callers’ inquiries or direct calls to the relevant site or department.

• Document interactions in EMR and marketing systems related to calls.

• Conduct initial prescreening and assess suitability for scheduling based on exclusionary criteria.

• Schedule appointments for new and returning patients accurately in the EMR system.

• Perform follow-up tasks to resolve outstanding issues and arrange LOCA for new or returning patients.

• Execute outbound call responsibilities related to calls or assigned tasks, including voicemails, faxes, online submissions, and monitoring team emails.

• Meet performance expectations against KPIs and quality review measures.

• No supervisory duties involved.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Capacity to retain and recall information related to EMR and marketing applications, as well as knowledge of behavioral health.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport, including strong listening skills, patience, and empathy.

• Proficiency in time management and workflow organization to ensure efficient handling of all call situations.

• General understanding of behavioral health and the public's needs concerning mental health and substance use.

• Ability to work independently and occasionally under high-stress conditions related to psychiatric crisis calls.

• Over 1 year of customer service experience preferred.

• Over 1 year of healthcare-related work experience preferred.
