This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Ensure high availability, performance, and load balancing of systems;

• Implement, configure, and maintain load balancer solutions to efficiently distribute traffic among servers and applications;

• Continuously monitor the operation of load balancers and servers, identifying bottlenecks, failures, or performance degradations;

• Configure failover mechanisms, redundancy, and clustering to ensure service continuity even in case of failures;

• Manage firewall rules, authentication, and other security measures related to incoming and outgoing traffic from load balancers;

• Keep load balancing systems updated with security patches and software enhancements;

• Conduct stress and load testing to validate the capacity of the environment and adjust configurations as needed;

• Act swiftly to resolve issues related to load balancing, identifying root causes and implementing permanent solutions;

• Assess the growth of applications and plan improvements or expansions in load balancing infrastructure to support increased traffic.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT).

• Experience in the mentioned specialty, within critical corporate environments with high availability.

• ITIL 4 training, with a minimum duration of 12 (twelve) hours.

• Official ITIL 4 Foundation certification or higher.

• Certification in load balancers or ADC (e.g., F5 Certified Administrator, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer, or equivalent), focusing on configurations, automation, security, and integration with corporate applications.

• CCNP or Security+ certification.

• Cloud security certification (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) course, with a minimum duration of 20 (twenty) hours.

• Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) course, with a minimum duration of 15 (fifteen) hours.

• Course for LPIC3 or RHCE.
