Adjunct Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct live virtual classes utilizing the curriculum and instructional materials provided by OTI.

• Foster an engaging and interactive online learning atmosphere.

• Guide discussions, activities, and exercises that enhance student participation and knowledge retention.

• Uphold professional and inclusive standards within the classroom setting.

• Ensure timely communication and support for students as necessary.

• Collaborate with OTI staff concerning course delivery and student progress.

• Participate in instructor orientation and attend periodic faculty meetings as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, Public Health, Education, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in teaching, training, or instructional roles within academic, professional development, workforce development, or continuing education contexts.

• Professional experience engaging with individuals impacted by substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.

• Background in facilitating virtual learning environments and utilizing online learning platforms.

• Exceptional presentation, communication, and group facilitation abilities.

• Experience instructing adult learners in higher education, workforce development, certification, or continuing education settings.

• Understanding of evidence-based practices related to substance use and co-occurring disorders.

• Experience training behavioral health professionals, peer specialists, case managers, or human services personnel.

• Acquainted with interactive online teaching methods and strategies for engaging learners.
