Adjunct Faculty – Master of Social Work

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Instruct both didactic and field education courses as part of the MSW programs.

• Provide mentorship or supervision for students.

• Facilitate course content delivery and engage students in discussion forums.

• Assess assignments and offer comprehensive feedback.

• Collaborate with faculty and staff in the social work department.

• Respond promptly to departmental emails.

• Utilize learning management systems, video conferencing platforms, and field placement tracking tools.

• Participate in mandatory meetings, training, and professional development sessions.

• Maintain regular communication with practicum agencies and supervisors while teaching field seminars.

• Comply with course deadlines and institutional guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a CSWE-accredited institution is essential.

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a university environment.

• Availability to conduct synchronous sessions or provide supplemental supervision for MSW students across different time zones.

• Preferred: Online teaching experience of 2 years or more.

• Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in field seminar instruction.

• Preferred: A minimum of 1 year of experience supervising students during their field practicum and collaborating with agency supervisors.

• Preferred: Experience in teaching clinical social work, research methodologies, and field practicum.

• Must have reliable internet access and a designated workspace.
