Adjunct Faculty, Healthcare Financial Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Instruct the HCM320 course in alignment with the designated curriculum, content, and learning outcomes.

• Evaluate and assess student submissions, including assignments, exams, quizzes, labs, papers, homework, discussions, simulations, and other course-related activities.

• Measure overall student comprehension of course material and subject matter.

• Monitor students’ progress and provide guidance on course-related tasks.

• Respond promptly to student inquiries via email.

• Facilitate discussions related to the course material.

• Maintain regular office hours to enhance student learning.

• Show teaching effectiveness through ongoing professional development.

• Contribute expertise in subject matter to the courses delivered.

• Promote student success.

• Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Faculty.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Healthcare Education, or a related field, or a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in healthcare-related academic disciplines.

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the healthcare sector.

• Proficient verbal and electronic communication skills.

• Capable of providing constructive feedback.

• Strong skills in facilitation.

• Familiarity with APA style.

• Preferred: Doctorate in a health-related field or Doctor of Healthcare Administration (DHA).

• Preferred: 3 years of experience related to the financial aspects of healthcare.

• Preferred: Cross-functional experience showcasing progressive leadership and management roles.

• Preferred: FACHE or other professional credentials from health management organizations such as MGMA or AHIMA.
